Position:
Looking for a part-time instructor to teach a Veterinary Assistant Training Program at Brazosport Community College in Lake Jackson, TX. All materials for instruction including exams are provided. No teaching experience necessary, but is a PLUS.
Position Details:
Instructors are responsible for providing quality instruction; managing the classroom environment using a variety of teaching strategies; supporting students in their efforts to succeed; making recommendations to the appropriate parties for updates/changes as needed to maintain currency of the program; and maintaining accurate records and submitting records/data by the due dates. At all times instructors should model and employ professional and positive relationships with the administrators and students, and work collaboratively with all members on the team.
Position Requirements:
- Veterinary Assistant
- Veterinary Technician
- Licensed Veterinary
** 2yrs. Minimum experience in the field
Position Compensation:
- $25-30 per hour for Veterinary Assistant*
- $25-30 per hour for Veterinary Technician*
- $45 per hour for Veterinarian
**Training available by current Veterinary Technician Instructor.
