VP functions in support of the hospital mission, vision and facility goals. The AA identifies the cost-effective systems needed to support the business of the department taking into account business trends, resource availability and changes in customers. This position establishes effective working relationships with all constituencies, including patients, physicians, employees, volunteers and Healthcare Industry Representatives (HCIR). The AA demonstrates skills to assess operation and management structure and to map distinct steps to accomplish improvements, achieve goals for patient care, physician and staff satisfaction and positive community relations. The AA is a member of the Executive Team and works with Senior Management in meeting facility goals. The AA facilitates the continuum of care through out the facility including the adult and pediatric areas. The AA utilizes the PDMAI
process to identify, plan, implement and monitor improvements to the
care delivery systems in the Surgical Services and other hospital
departments.
Requirements:
Current Texas RN License
Minimum BSN Required, MSN preferred
Five-year director level management experience to include
management of personnel, payroll, budgets, capital, business
planning, marketing, physician relations and management of
supervisory positions.
