Wegman Partners has been engaged to find an Intellectual Property Counsel for a top corporation in the Houston market. This great company has been ranked as one of the top companies to work for in the past. In this role the candidate will manage the company’s intellectual property program and meet with engineers to identify patentable products for the company. This role will also support licensing and freedom-to-operate and offer client counseling to business executives. This role will manage outside counsel regarding preparation and prosecution of patent applications. The incumbent will also provide client counseling and strategize with business leaders. In order to be considered for this role a candidate must have a BSEE, and have at least 3 years of experience. Must be licensed as a Patent Attorney by the USPTO and licensed to practice law in at least one state. The company will provide relocation assistance for an out of state candidate.
