The role of the PA/NP would be to assist the physician in the long term management of patient with chronic conditions ranging from stroke and spinal cord injury to chronic pain. All new patients are evaluated by the physician prior to the PA/NP becoming involved in the care of the patient. This is a true team approach to patient care and the PA/NP will act as an extender. the PA/NP will not be expected to work alone or without supervision.
