Sandy is a gentle soul. She likes to run about and play, but she is also fairly laid back. I was able to get down on the ground to take photos of her and when she came over to me she laid down next to me and seemed to relax. Awesome, awesome dog. ...... NOTE: The City budget does NOT cover vet exams for these animals. Each adopted animal needs at least one complete Veterinary exam (including fecal), within about a week of adoption. Remember, we are open late three days a week (Tues - Thurs until 6 pm), for your "adopting convenience"! We are also open Fri & Sat until 5 pm. PLEASE NOTE: Dogs need EXERCISE, DISCIPLINE, and AFFECTION every day (per renowned "Dog Whisperer" Cesar Millan)......For BEHAVIOR help, go to www.hspca.org, point to the link Resources, then click on Behavior Information. Here you will find helpful tips on bringing a new dog home, as well as how to deal with behavior problems.
