American Bulldog - Strider - Medium - Young - Male - Dog
Strider is a character despite the numerous raw deals he has been dealt. When Strider was just a wee pup, some very bad people banded his back toes (maybe rubberbands) and eventually after weeks of pain, they fell off. Strider still thrived, learned to walk wearing socks, jump, play and even went to a home. Then one day his adopted momma didnt want want him, after having him over a year, amazing. Then the original rescue, well they didn't want him either, although it was part of their contract to accept him back. Poor Strider had no place, no one. One of LPBR's board members is from Strider's original rescue, she actually was Strider's foster momma, so we took him in, got him back up to weight, healthy and happy. Strider is completely vetted, neutered, house broken, crate trained, social with all people, dogs and loves kids. He is a bouncy fun boy that LOVES stuffies and will flip, toss and run after them. He loves to get his zoomies on, running around the yard with his foster siblings, just enjoying life and leaving the horrible past behind him. He really is a super kiddo.
