Our client, located in North West Houston, is looking for a Quality Control Inspector/Manager to work in its production facility.
The following qualifications are preferred unless otherwise noted:
*Min of 8 years experience utilizing test and measuring devices in a Quality Control role
*Some document control background needed
*Strong shipping & receiving experience in a Quality Control (manufacturing) capacity
*Must be able to interpret drawings and customer specifications
*This person must be able to address quality issues related to non-conforming material or components, and obtain timely disposition in order to maintain production flow
*Must be able to adapt, implement quarantine program
*Strong experience in reading prints, dimensions, and tolerances
*Extensive experience using measuring equipment
*Strong computer and reporting skills
*Able to communicate to vendors, employees, reps in a clear, professional manner in regards to product standards
*Knowledge of general procedures of quality assurance in manufacturing
*College degree preferred (Associates or Bachelor's)
*Must be able to work under pressure, meet critical deadlines, and handle difficult situations
*Clean background and drug screen
*US Work eligible (will verify)
*The ideal candidate will be flexible on hours and shifts
This position is a contract, possible contract to perm position that will be paying $18 to $22 per hour
