Description:
McCoy Drilling and Completions designs, manufactures, services and sells drilling and completion equipment for the global energy industry. This division operates out of Edmonton, Alberta, Canada; Broussard and Lafayette, Louisiana; and Houston, Texas.

We are currently recruiting an Assembly Welder to join the service department team at our Houston location.

Responsibilities:

• Perform shop work regularly
• Read and interpret blueprints or drawings to obtain specifications
• Operate welding equipment
• Perform routine maintenance activities
• Prepare jigs or set-ups for welding
• Perform field service when needed

Qualifications:

• 2- 3 years industrial shop experience
• Experience in welding required
• MIG, TIG, Stick welding experience a plus
• Must have mechanical ability
• Ability to read blueprints
• Attention to detail and good hand, eye coordination
• Ability to work independently and with others
