Job Title: Quality Control Receiving Inspector (Oil & Gas)
Location: Houston, TX 77032
Duration: 12+ months (Strong possibility for extension)
Job Description / Requirement:
Receiving Inspectors:
• Monitor manufacturing operations to assure that products and services meet the requirements of our quality assurance program, the engineering requirements and the appropriate industry and/or regulatory standards for which the equipment is sanctioned.
• Identify quality documents and interpret the information on them in order to establish material traceability
• Perform basic dimensional and visual inspection of purchased materials
• Visually, and through the use of measuring devices, inspect in-process and finished products to ensure that they satisfy quality standards and industry codes and standards
• Work in partnership with manufacturing management to eliminate the causes of quality problems
• Identify and label all quality defects; generates NCRs for components, procedures, etc., which do not meet the applicable requirements
• Comply with all applicable quality, health, safety, and environmental regulations
• Perform other related duties as assigned or indicated by responsibilities
• High school diploma or GED (OR a minimum of five years work related experience)
• Two years experience in quality control applications
• Ability to read and correctly interpret prints/drawings and specifications
• Proficiency in MS office
