Master Scheduler POSITION TITLE: MASTER SCHEDULER (Manufacturing Environment)
POSITION SUMMARY: Multifaceted DEGREED individual with solid experience in SPECIALTY MACHINING - CNC, milling and metals manufacturing environment. A background in aerospace, military components, oil and gas will all be beneficial.
MUST HAVE:
1.SIGNIFICANT HANDS ON EXPERIENCE AS A MASTER SCHEDULER FROM WITHIN A LARGE JOB SHOP OEM - CNC ENVIRONMENT!
2. Experience - hands on - with daily change of plans
3.Working in a very fast paced environment where no two parts are typically the same.
This position is responsible for the performance and oversight of the Master Production Schedule for an OEM Manufacturer in S.E. Texas. Up to 500 items scheduled and master schedule lines up to 2000 at any given time. Well over 200 CNC Machinists.
The incumbent must be able to work in a fast paced, customer focus, evolved job shop environment supporting the manufacturing team of over 200 machinists and support staff.
JDE/PS tools will be used along with APICS standard thought processes to perform the functions required.
REPORTS TO: CEO
MANUFACTURING ENVIRONMENT: 3, 4 and 5 Axis Vertical and Horizontal CNC Milling and Machining
YEARS OF EXPERIENCE IN A CNC or METALS ENVIRONMENT: Minimum of 5 years
LOCATION: Southeast Texas
RELOCATION PACKAGE: Yes
TRAVEL: Very minimal – maybe up to 5 - 10%
COMPENSATION: $100,000 to $115,000 D.O.E. of Validated Qualifications & Experience Level

POSITION AVAILABILITY: Immediate
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/ DUTIES
•Development of the MPS annual budget and periodic reporting
•Annual and periodic Capacity Requirement Planning for the facility
•Master schedule development and implementation on a daily, weekly monthly basis
•Revenue stream prediction and reporting for the facility – weekly, monthly and annually
•Engineering change implementation into manufacturing
•Capacity rescheduling as required
•Customer date change requests
•Daily action message resolution
•Coordination of outsource strategies to smooth capacity constrained work centers
• Coordination of outsource on Master Manufactured strategy parts
JOB SKILL REQUIREMENTS Person must have highly developed interpersonal communication skills. EDUCATION
1.A BS degree in business or related field is REQUIRED
2.APICS certification is a strong plus
EXPERIENCE
Actual experience in a Master Scheduling role is required. Actual J. D. Edwards experience a plus. Above average understanding of the state of the art manufacturing processes is needed.
