      Our Galleria area Houston, TX client is seeking a Senior Financial Accountant.

      The Senior Accountant will ensure the timely and accurate filing of all financial statements and reports. This role will also provide information and accounting support to both the US business unit and various accounting teams in the office.

      Requirements:
      Prepare the Company’s financial statements accurately and on a timely basis- monthly, quarterly, annually- in compliance with both IFRS and GAAP.
      Provide information for Quarterly reports- ASX, QPR.
      Maintain the general ledger and ensure the accounting records are accurate and up-to-date.
      Provide accurate reports and analysis of operations as requested.
      Supervise/ mentor Financial Accounting Associate.
      Liaise with external auditor and provide information and records as requested.
      Work closely with Perth in order to ensure proper implementation of Corporate accounting procedures.
      Provide Perth with various reports and analysis of activity as requested.
      Provide analysis and support to HR for payroll tax filings.
      Provide support to budget and Tax functions as needed.

      Requirements:
      Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting.
      Extensive experience in an accounting role within upstream Oil and Gas operations; at least 5 years within a large organization.
      Advanced knowledge and experience preparing International Financial Standards (IFRS) financial statements.
      Microsoft Office (including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint).
      Advanced knowledge of IBIS Finance Systems (SAP).
      Advanced knowledge of Business Warehouse.
      Fluent written and spoken English.
      CPA preferred.
