Position Description
- In this role the Director serves as the subject matter expert for Manufacturing Group related to highly technical accounting areas by designing specifications for analysis; supervising the performance of requested accounting functions or audit requests in difficult accounting areas; as well as reviewing and approving analysis and updates. The Director provides overall direction for accounting and controls by analyzing business objective and customer needs.

- In this role the associate will develop their business understanding by participating in the month-end close process and identifying and analyzing gaps related to actual controls are in place and working related to the financial processes as well as identifying opportunities for improvement and control gaps.

- SOX Knowledge

- Responsibilities include mitigating company risk exposure by designing, education, and developing financial related systems, enhancements, and processes, as well as ensuring US GAAP and SOX compliance.

- In this role the associate will continue to expand their knowledge of financial reporting as it relates to the business segment results and disclosures in SEC reporting.

Minimum Qualifications

-Bachelors Degree in Accounting or Finance
-7 to 10 years accounting/audit experience, with strong GAAP knowledge
-Executive presence, strong oral and written communication skills, strong presentation skills
-Able to manage multiple projects at the same time
-Adaptive problem solving and ability to influence/persuade others
-Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and influence other at all levels
-CPA, CMA, or CIA
